Discriminate between the immediate and chronic effects of water pollution and explain why chronic pollution is a more serious long term threat.
Immediate water pollution is the short-term contamination of water by means of throwing trash and other non-soluble elements in bodies of water. Chronic water pollution is the long-term contamination of water that resulted from accumulated immediate water-pollution. Obviously, the latter has a more serious effect because living organisms that are inhabiting the water will be affected. This action can come back to us when we consume living organisms that are in oceans or seas.
