General equation for line:
y=ax+b
Putting those points to equation:
(2,14)
14=a*2+b
(1,7)
7=a+b
From substituting method:
a=7-b
14=(7-b)*2+b
14=14-2b+b
b=0
a=7
y=7x - result

[latex](2,14), \ \ (1,7)\\\\\\ First \ find \ the \ slope \ of \ the \ line \ thru \ the \ points \: \\ \\ m= \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1} } \\ \\m=\frac{ 7-14}{1-2} = \frac{ -7}{-1}=7 \\ \\ Use \ point \ form \ of \ a \ line\ with \ one \ point: \\ \\ y-y_{1} =m(x-x _{1}) \\ \\m=7, \ \ x_{1}=2, \ \ y_{1}=14\\\\y-14 =7(x-2)\\\\y = 7 x-14+14 \\\\ y=7x[/latex]
